Roger and Di made a lovely couple and were rightly proud of their family. Di became treasurer of a share club called SCREAMS, formed after we retired from SWEB but our timing wasn't good as the 9/11 tragedy wiped out any chances of gains on our small portfolio. Never mind, it was a great opportunity to carry on meeting as a group after we had wound things up and it was always delightful to have lunch with Roger and Di and the rest of the bunch. My thoughts are with Roger and his family at this very sad and difficult time and I send my love to you all. Chris

Di - You welcomed me into your family with open arms 30 years ago and have been like a second mum to me ever since, as well as the most loving grandmother to our girls for the past 18 years. Life simply won't be quite the same without you, but you will live on in our hearts. Xx

I have many happy memories of my Auntie Di. ..........North petherton carnivals were always one of the highlights of the year with all her family and friends, the parties at their house afterwards! (Her roast potatoes were very hard to beat!!) The summers spent in the back garden at Cannes lane when we would all get together and one especially memorable time when the swimming pool collapsed and flooded the garden. Holidays spent in Shaldon and crabbing over the wall in the back garden. Whenever I think of her I always remember how happy she was when all her family were around how she would always go out of her way to make sure everyone was ok. And how every time she said goodbye she would always add “god bless you” She truly was one in a million and will be missed by so many. God bless you Auntie Di xx
